Community Partners

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their drinking problem.  It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings. There are no age or education requirements to participate. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem.

Appalachian Behavioral Healthcare (ABH) provides inpatient care for acutely mentally ill adults from southeastern Ohio.

BAMA (Barnesville Area Ministerial Association) invites churches, faith based organizations and individuals to the table to better our community.

The program is operated by Cumberland Trail Fire District, in collaboration with Belmont County Commissioners, BHM Mental Health & Recovery Board, Senior Services of Belmont County, Belmont County Job & Family Services, and Belmont County Health Department.

The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is dedicated to the mission of reducing recidivism among those we touch and the vision of reducing crime in Ohio.

The Belmont County Board of DD funds the basic, essential needs of eligible people with developmental disabilities and ensures their health, safety and well-being. 

The Belmont County Health Department is a general health district that serves all of Belmont County.

Center for Evidence-Based Practices

We strive to provide evidence-based technical assistance to serve people with mental illness, addiction, or co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders.

The County Commissioners Association of Ohio advances effective county government for Ohio through legislative advocacy, education and training, technical assistance and research, quality enterprise service programs, and greater citizen awareness and understanding of county government.

Crisis Intervention Teams (CIT) are community-based programs that bring together law enforcement, mental health professionals, advocates, people living with mental illness and their families, and other partners to improve community responses to people experiencing mental health crises.

Ohio Family and Children First (OFCF) is a partnership of state and local government, communities and families that enhances the well-being of Ohio’s children and families by building community capacity, coordinating systems and services, and engaging families.

We aspire to be the leader in population health improvement. Through the use of innovative, proactive, and collaborative approaches we will ensure conditions in which all people can be healthy.

Help Me Grow is Ohio’s evidenced-based parent support program that encourages early prenatal and well-baby care, as well as parenting education to promote the comprehensive health and development of children. Help Me Grow System includes Central Intake, Help Me Grow Home Visiting and Help me Grow Early Intervention.

The Monroe County HOPE Alliance Coalition consists of community members from the surrounding area working toward the common goal of substance abuse prevention, suicide prevention, and human exploitation prevention. We welcome anyone who might be interested in helping us create change.
